Mr. Ngo was born in Northridge, CA and started at Mecanica Scientific in 2016 as an engineering intern. He joined the Mecanica team full time in 2019. In addition to his interest in the automotive field, Mr. Ngo is interested in aeronautics and was a Co-Captain on the SAE Aeronautics Team at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and helped design the aircraft that won 4th in both design and presentation, 8th in competition and 12th place overall out of 25 international teams at the SAE Aero West competition.

After graduating from CSUN in May of 2019, Mr. Ngo became a research engineer on the accident reconstruction team.

Mr. Ngo specializes in accident reconstruction through processing of 3D point clouds, computer-aided design (CAD), vehicle dynamics, data imaging of Event Data Recorders (EDR) of light vehicles, Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders (HVEDR), analysis of data from HV/EDRs, vehicle testing and instrumentation, and data analysis through programming and interpretation.

Mr. Ngo participates in continuing education such as SAE courses pertaining to accident reconstruction and has obtained his California Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certificate and is a Licensed FAA UAS remote pilot under part 107.
